Rokin 85 runs five buildings deep. Behind one front door you find a pub, a restaurant, a tavern with its own bar, a gaming area, a terrace on Rokin and a courtyard under a glass roof, all connected and all yours to combine. Start with drinks in the Pub, sit down for dinner in the Restaurant, challenge your colleagues to a game of pool in the Gaming Area and end the night with a party in the Covern Garden. Your guests never have to cross town, and you never have to book three venues for one evening.

Dinners, seated or walking
Three or four courses at long tables, a shared dining menu that gets the whole table talking, or a walking dinner with bite-sized courses for guests who would rather mingle than sit still. Every dish can be adapted for vegetarian, vegan and dietary needs.

Drinks and receptions
After-work drinks, a team celebration, a New Year's reception or a reception after a graduation, PhD defence or conference in the city. Reserve a section of the Pub, the Tavern or the Gaming Area, order drinks on consumption or choose an open bar.

Product launches and brand events
The Covern Garden turns walls and ceiling into your brand for the evening: immersive projections for the presentation, a DJ balcony for the party afterwards. Present, demo, toast and dance without changing venue.

Private parties and weddings
Birthdays, reunions, an intimate city wedding: dinner in the Restaurant or under the glass roof, and the party in the Covern Garden afterwards. Take a private section for your group or the whole venue for the night.

Pool, pinball and live sport on the big screens. Book the Gaming Area or the Tavern for a team night with drinks and bites, or gather your people for the big match.

The Covern Garden
Our covered courtyard under a glass roof, in the heart of the Pub: daylight in the afternoon, stars at night, and immersive projections that turn the walls and ceiling into whatever you need, from your logo to a dance floor. With a DJ balcony above.
Best for: launches, receptions and parties
Capacity: up to 65 guests as a private section of the Pub; larger groups take the whole Pub
The Pub
Hand-carved wall panels, copperwork, beers on tap and screens for the match, with the Covern Garden at its heart. This is where the evening starts.
Best for: after-work drinks, receptions and the welcome before dinner
Capacity: up to 150 guests standing, the whole Pub including the Covern Garden
The Restaurant
The heart of the house: 150 square metres, long tables, three large wine barrels you can dine inside and the kitchen close by.
Best for: seated dinners, shared dining and business lunches

The Tavern
A second bar, leather seating and classic tiles, with its own table section.
Best for: team dinners, informal drinks and small meetings

The Gaming Area

The Terrace

Food and drinks
Our kitchen cooks international dishes with an Amsterdam twist, from shared starters to walking dinner bites. Group menus are available from 12 guests and every dish can be adapted for vegetarian, vegan and dietary needs. Prices are starting prices per person. Customisable options are also available upon request.

Good to know
What is the minimum group size?
Group menus and private sections start at 12 guests. Smaller group? Book a table through our regular reservations.
Can we hire the whole venue?
Yes, any day of the week, for up to 500 guests. Availability depends on the season, so ask early.
Until what time can our event run?
From Sunday to Thursday until 01:00, on Friday and Saturday until 03:00. Daytime events can start from 07:00.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes. Every group menu has vegetarian and vegan options and we adapt dishes for allergies and other needs. Let us know when you book.
Is there audiovisual equipment?
Yes. The Pub has six screens, including one of 90 inches, and the Tavern has two. Connect a laptop via HDMI to play your slides, logo or video on any screen. Two wireless microphones run through the house sound system. DJs and live music are welcome, and there is free wifi throughout.
How does booking work?
Send the form and we reply within one working day with availability and a proposal. Happy with the proposal? We confirm your date and take it from there.

Metro
Rokin station (line 52, Noord/Zuidlijn) is a two-minute walk. One stop from Amsterdam Centraal, three stops from RAI (Europaplein) and four from Zuid.
Tram
Lines 4, 14 and 24, stop Rokin.
Car
Parkeergarage Rokin is right outside the door and Q-Park De Bijenkorf (Beursplein 15) is five minutes on foot, with more garages nearby.
Airport
From Schiphol Airport: about 20 minutes by train to Amsterdam Centraal, then one stop by metro or a fifteen-minute walk.
Hotels
Guests from out of town? The Diamond, our boutique hotel at Leidseplein, is part of the same family, and we can include rooms in your proposal. Most other city centre hotels are within a ten-minute walk.
By boat
Canal cruises leave from Rokin, two minutes away, if you want to start your evening on the water.
